Men's group joins hands and hearts in prayer.
Growing towards Christian maturity is a big deal to us at CTS. We want everyone in our community to be constantly growing, and we strive to provide ways for that to happen. Some opportunites offered are for study, some are just for fun, some are for service and some combine all three.
Participating in a Bible study class is a way for you to go beyond a weekly church service to develop a closer relationship with Christ. There are a variety of studies available, some are offered in the morning, some in the evenings. Studies are grouped around a common interest and open to anyone.
Classes for Adults
As adults it is important for us to realize we are really life-long learners when it comes to spiritual growth. Many of our classes are planned for Wednesday Night Life so that the whole family can grow at the same time. There are classes for women, classes for men, and classes intended for an open audience. If spiritual growth is a new idea for you, we have classes to help you find your way; if you are a mature Christian, we have classes to challenge you on your next step. Small groups provide an opportunity to sustain the growth we have begun. Each small group (usually 6-10 people or 3-5 couples) chooses its own curriculum and meeting time. There is a leader for administative purposes, but the leadership of each session is often shared among several participants. Small groups are intentionally relationship focused and community building, as we believe that the building of relationships with other Christians mimics and enhances our relationship building with Christ. As we build these relationships in a small community, we develop a network of encouragement and accountability that helps us maintain our spiritual growth. Small groups are also meant as a vehicle for loving the community around us, as we work together to reach out and serve in the community.
The Men's Ministry at Christ the Savior exists to bring men into Christ centered relationships, and to help each man become a godly influence in his home, church and workplace. We are a group of guys from all stages of life and all levels of spiritual growth. We like to have fun, challenge each other, and take action in the world for Christ.
It is through seeking God, praying humbly, caring for each other, and serving one another that our personal relationship with God grows; as well as relationships with the sisters in our lives and community. Find out more about the variety of opportunities offered through Women's Ministry.
There are several retreat opportunities throughout the year that allow you to break away from the daily routine of life. These events give you the opportunity to reconnect and recharge with Christ.
