Significant moments and events shape our lives from important milestones such as baptism, starting school, and getting a driver's license to everyday moments such as blowing bubbles, taking walks, and reading Bible stories. These are stepping stones of life; opportunities to shape our being as growing individuals in the world around us and as individuals growing in our relationship with God.
Stepping Stones Children's Ministry is intentional about what we want children to learn and experience every step of their faith formation journey. Our mission is for each child to know, love, and serve Christ. Our purpose is to support and encourage parents in the nurturing of your child's faith formation journey.
“BeAtitudes for Living” is a special Lenten series for children and youth through 6th grade. “BeAtitudes for Living” will replace our Akaloo curriculum in February and March.
This series is grounded in the blessings that Jesus taught us in his Sermon on the Mount. Each week we will focus on one of the beatitudes to learn more what our ATTITUDE should BE, instead of our selfish ME attitudes.
On Sundays we will introduce the “BeAtitude” of the week and how to live it each day.
STEP OUT on Wednesday nights is an opportunity for youth K thru 6th grade to take a closer look at each BeAtitude. We'll enjoy a skit with Harvey and his friends, play games, make a craft and other fun activities. STEP OUT immediately follows the Wednesday night Lenten services starting February 24.
