Sunday Morning Faith Formation during 11 am Worship Service. 

  • PRE-CONFIRMATION CLASS - Preteens will connect with God's big story through videos, exploring the Bible, and hands-on activities in this two-year program. We will also explore Lutheran theology and faith practices. The videos and an at-home parent guide will be on our new app and on the youth webpage. Each student will be given their own Connect Bible which features visual icons, vibrant maps, and instant activities encouraging them to explore God's word and its meaning in their life. Our hope is this class lays a foundation for going deeper when they begin our Confirmation program. Class begins immediately following the Children's Message.

7th & 8th Grade

Sunday Morning Confirmation Class from 9:45 to 10:45 am. 

  • Colaborate is a curriculum that offers Lutheran doctrine combined with thought-provoking questions, surprising insights, and punchy graphics thanks to the theologians, practitioners, and artists who developed it. These materials allow students the opportunity to discover the richness of Lutheran history, the Small Catechism, as well as the Old and New Testaments using proven learning methods such as problem-based learning. Through this 2 year confirmation program students will be able to investigate the holy mystery and the complexity of Scripture. This investigative process will deepen their knowledge of God’s love for them and God’s love for all people.

9th & 12th Grade

Sunday Morning Faith Blend meets 9:45 to 10:45 am.
 
  • Grab your donut and coffee and meet us in the youth room! This year, students will follow along with the congregation using Brian McClaren’s book, “We Make the Road by Walking”.  Each week students are invited to read the weekly chapter in McClaren’s book and the accompanying Bible passages before Sunday. On Sunday, students will gather to engage in games, activities and lively group discussions about the Bible, their faith and how it relates to their everyday daily life.

Youth Praise

Students in 7th-12th grade are invited to share their vocal and instrumental talents with the Youth Praise Band. The band leads worship during special services and other events throughout the year.

Youth Praise breaks for the summer in May and will resume in August.

We strive to create a place for 5th-12th grade students to connect with each other, get to know Jesus and find joy in serving. 

At Christ the Savior Lutheran Church we are passionate about creating a space where 5th - 12th grade students can experience the love of Jesus in community with each other. Through learning, fellowship and service we strive to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other.

Youth Programming runs through the school year, starting in August and going through April.
