Lead Pastor

Pastor Brian has served as an ELCA Pastor since 1999 when he earned his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH. Before he was called to serve Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in 2015, he was pastor at congregations in Bowers, PA and Richmond, IN. Along with his wife, Ashley (our Volunteer Coordinator), they reside in Fishers with their 3 children – Evelyn, Micah and Carolyn. Pastor Brian’s passion is to help God’s people deepen their relationship with God and one another – and especially loves helping people understand the richness of God’s Word and the power of God’s love that is revealed there. He loves that Christ the Savior is a congregation that truly welcomes all, and is a community that focuses on bringing together the “wisdom of the elder with the wonder of the child” across the generations. Pastor Brian’s favorite activities include riding his motorcycle, hiking, fishing and just about any other outdoor activity that he can share with family and friends.

Deacon

Deacon Ashley earned her Master of Divinity degree at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH and was ordained as a deacon in the United Methodist Church in 2004.  She recently transferred her deacon ordination to the ELCA.  Before serving at Christ the Savior, Ashley worked at churches in Quakertown, PA and Richmond, IN.  She has also worked with an Adult Day Care in Richmond, IN and with United Seminary and Christian Theological Seminary with their formation programs.  As a deacon, Ashley is ordained to word and service and is called to connect the congregation with the needs of the community.  She is excited to journey with others to learn how to best reflect God’s character to the world.  Ashley and her husband, Brian, live in Fishers with their 3 children.  She loves running and walking, doing anything outside, and hanging out with her family.
