Serving the community
Hamilton County Kids Coats
Hamilton County Kids Coats helps provide winter wear and coats for Hamilton County families in need. Volunteers can help with coat sorting year-round or at the distribution days,
Lazarus Garden
Lazarus Garden provides the local community a place to grow their own food and helps feed the hungry in the community through donations of fresh produce to a local food pantry - gardeners provide approximately 1000 pounds of produce seasonally.
Lazarus Garden Information
Christ the Savior is partnering with Master Gardeners of Hamilton County. They will be growing produce on our property (in the location where the Rotary has grown food in the past) for local food pantries to address food insecurity.
Lutheran Child and Family Services
Lutheran Child & Family Services provides a wide range of social services to support children in crisis and vulnerable families. Support troubled teens through Lutherwood residential treatment center.
The Sharing Place
The Sharing Place is a material assistance program which provides free food and clothing to families in need. Donate non-perishable food or personal hygiene items in the labeled bins near the Cafe entrance.
Self Service Food Pantry
Have you noticed the yellow shed on Christ the Savior's property? We've teamed up with FeedingTeam.org to provide nonperishable items to our neighbors in need. If you can donate, just place the items in the shed - "Take what you need, Give what you can"
Changing Footprints
A local organization that changes the world, two feet at a time. Donate shoes or anything that goes on feet year round at the church and Changing Footprints uses those to provide shoes to needy and less fortunate people throughout the world.
