Thanksgiving Support for Families

Through the Good Samaritan Network, you can help make someone’s holiday a little brighter. Prepare boxes of food to be delivered to families prior to Thanksgiving or help serve a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day.

Shop for a family this season!

We've teamed up with the Good Samaritan Network and are excited to be hosting an Angel Tree Project for kids in need. Make sure to visit the Atrium on Sunday, November 23 to grab a tag with a child's name and wish list! 

Christmas Assistance Distribution

This year’s annual Christmas Assistance for Hamilton County residents will include food, toys, and clothing. Sign up to help with distribution. Dates and information at:  ivolunteer.

Sharing Place Food Pantry has seen a dramatic increase in numbers over the past few months so the holidays will be a busy time. They are always in need of volunteers throughout the week. 

Hamilton County Kids Coats

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE your COATS and WINTER WEAR!
When you have outgrown last year's winter coat, wash it and DONATE IT! ALL SIZES infant to adult 5XL! Hamilton County Kids Coats collects clean, gently used coats, mittens, gloves, hats, snowpants, and boots. Bring them to the church and drop them off in the bin at the Mission Hub located in the Atrium.

Serving the community

Hamilton County Kids Coats
Hamilton County Kids Coats helps provide winter wear and coats for Hamilton County families in need. Volunteers can help with coat sorting year-round or at the distribution days,

Lazarus Garden
Lazarus Garden provides the local community a place to grow their own food and helps feed the hungry in the community through donations of fresh produce to a local food pantry - gardeners provide approximately 1000 pounds of produce seasonally.
Lazarus Garden Information 

Christ the Savior is partnering with Master Gardeners of Hamilton County. They will be growing produce on our property (in the location where the Rotary has grown food in the past) for local food pantries to address food insecurity.

Lutheran Child and Family Services
Lutheran Child & Family Services provides a wide range of social services to support children in crisis and vulnerable families. Support troubled teens through Lutherwood residential treatment center.

The Sharing Place
The Sharing Place is a material assistance program which provides free food and clothing to families in need. Donate non-perishable food or personal hygiene items in the labeled bins near the Cafe entrance.

Self Service Food Pantry
Have you noticed the yellow shed on Christ the Savior's property? We've teamed up with FeedingTeam.org to provide nonperishable items to our neighbors in need. If you can donate, just place the items in the shed - "Take what you need, Give what you can"

Changing Footprints 
A local organization that changes the world, two feet at a time. Donate shoes or anything that goes on feet year round at the church and Changing Footprints uses those to provide shoes to needy and less fortunate people throughout the world.

New Missions
We want everyone to know how surprisingly close God is, regardless of where they live in the world. We partner with New Missions to help share God's love with those in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Disaster Response
We partner with Lutheran Disaster Response, which brings God’s hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters in the United States and around the world.

Mission Trips
Share God’s love with the people in other parts of the world. Stay tuned for the next mission trip date.
